Well for all my friends using Airtel broadband and who wanna experience high downloading speeds… here’s the process:

When do u need port forwarding:
Typically when you want computers outside your LAN to access your computer. Some examples can be when u set up a ftp server on my machine for other people to access, or you are running a bittorrent client such as utorrent, or when you want to play Age of Empires on the network.

Steps:
Configuring the Airtel Modem.

• open url http://192.168.1.1/main.html
• The default Username is “Admin” and password is “password”
• Advanced Setup -> NAT -> Virtual Servers
• the Server IP would be same as your IP Address .
• If you want to play Age of Empires, you can just select this from the dropdown (it is pre-configured). Click on Save/Apply and you are done.
• In case the service isn’t pre-configured, such as utorrent. Click on Custom Service. Put name utorrent (anything, doesn’t matter)
• You would need to put which port to forward. utorrent typically runs on 19556, so put 19556 in all the four text fields i.e. External Port Start, External Port End, Internal Port Start and Internal Port End.
• Choose the protocol. In case of utorrent, and in most other cases, it would be TCP. Click on Save/Apply.
• Thats all. Port Forwarding should start working right away.

Please note that these steps are applicable only if you are not using any other routers (wireless or otherwise) with your modem.

First of all my words of wisdom for this movie:

If you’re a movie buff you would have already seen this movie and if you havn’t you must be having plans and if you havn’t planned to watch this movie do watch it,

if you aint no movie buff then I’ll insist you to watch it!

Oh boy, is Vinay Pathak funny? Hell yeah! The whole movie revolves around Mr. Bharat Bhooshan(Vinay Pathak) who’s a Income Tax officer in the movie and how he actually manhandles a Music Director who calls him to mock him!

BOTTOM LINE: How could you miss such a hillarious Bolly-flick??? 

Dunno whether its the aftermath of my horrendous (read: yet another horrendous) performance in the tests that’s asking me to think like this or is it really true??? I mean I tried to think of what has got into me that I try real hard NOT TO BE NORMAL………

I’m sick n tired….. of my college, of my deeds, of my habits, of……….. probably everything!

Somebody help!

I’m clever, funny, and full of surprises. I’m probably on the verge of being fired – but who cares? Work’s boring anyway. When it comes to leisure, I’d rather watch cartoons, crash a wild party, or stage a practical joke than have an elegant tea with my grandma. I’m not big on being “civilized” or following “rules” such as that pesky “speed limit.”

Above all, I’m a trendsetter and a force of chaos. I see tradition as something to be questioned, structure as something to be toppled. I’m popular, charming, and entertaining to be around. I’d make a great actor, comedian, or a rock musician. Everyone loves having me at parties, because with me there, no one has a chance of getting bored.

Oh boy… the following week’s gonna be really heavy for me! There’s so much happening and I wanna be a part of each n every thing( actually except for 1-RESULT )

The week kicks off with the results of the 1st Academic Tests of this sem! (I know m gonna flunk in most of ‘em but still its exciting… lol)

Then its time for the biggest showdown of the soccer stars…. THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE knockout phase 8 games… all the major teams from different leagues of Europe and all the major players from around the globe! Cant wait to watch the clashes between Barcelona-Liverpool & Real Madrid-Bayern Munich!

 And finally its THE GREAT INDIAN ROCK SHOW….. a place where all the metalheads unite \m/

It sure is gonna be a great week !

None of the much flaunted appeals of cigarette advertisers, such as superior taste and mildness, induces us to become smokers or to choose one brand in preference to another. Despite the emphasis put on such qualities by advertisers, they are minor considerations. Then what is it that forces you to smoke…..
“It is not the taste that counts. It’s that sense of satisfaction you get from a cigarette that you can’t get from anything else.”

Smoking is Fun

What is the nature of this psychological pleasure? It can be traced to the universal desire for self-expression. None of us ever completely outgrows his childhood. We are constantly hunting for the carefree enjoyment we knew as children. As we grew older, we had to subordinate our pleasures to work and to the necessity for unceasing effort. Smoking, for many of us, then, became a substitute for our early habit of following the whims of the moment; it becomes a legitimate excuse for interrupting work and snatching a moment of pleasure. “If you sit back for the length of a cigarette, you feel much fresher afterwards. It’s a peculiar thing, but I wouldn’t think of just sitting back without a cigarette. I guess a cigarette somehow gives me a good excuse.”

Smoking is a Reward

Most of us are hungry for rewards. We want to be patted on the back. A cigarette is a reward that we can give ourselves as often as we wish. When we have done anything well, We can promise ourselves: “When I have finished this piece of work, when I have written the last page of my report, I’ll deserve a little fun. I’ll have a cigarette.” The first and last cigarette in the day are especially significant rewards. The first one, smoked right after breakfast, is a sort of anticipated recompense. The smoker has work to do, and he eases himself into the day’s activities as pleasantly as possible. He gives himself a little consolation prize in advance, and at the same time manages to postpone the evil hour when he must begin his hard day’s work. The last cigarette of the day is like “closing a door.” It is something quite definite. “I nearly always smoke a cigarette before going to bed. That finishes the day. I usually turn the light out after I have smoked the last cigarette, and then turn over to sleep.”

The Cigarette – A Modern Hourglass

Frequently the burning down of a cigarette functions psychologically as a time indicator. A smoker waiting for someone who is late says to himself, “Now I’ll smoke one more cigarette, and then I am off.” “It is much easier to watch a cigarette get smaller and smaller than to keep watching a clock and look at the hands dragging along.”

“With a Cigarette I Am Not Alone”

Smoking cigaretees is like being with a friend. “When I lean back and light my cigarette and see the glow in the dark, I am not alone any more….” In one sense, a cigarette seems to be something alive.

The companionable character of cigarettes is also reflected in the fact that they help us make friends. In many ways, smoking has the same effect drinking has. It helps to break down social barriers. “Whenever I am in need of company, all I have to do is walk to the cig. shop nearby who happens to be Gupta Ji Paranthey waley and voila there’s rarely been an occasion when I havn’t found anyone of my acquaintance there!”

“I Like to Watch the Smoke”

In mythology and religion, smoke is full of meaning. Its floating intangibility and unreal character have made it possible for imaginative man to see therein mystery and magic. Even for us moderns, smoke has a strong fascination. To the cigarette smoker, the clouds he puffs out seem to represent a part of himself. Just as most people like to watch their own breath on cold winter days, so they like to watch cigarette smoke, which similarly makes one’s breath visible. This explains the emotional attitudes of many toward smoke. “On a rainy day, I sort of lie in a haze in the middle of the room and let my thoughts wander while I smoke and wonder where the smoke goes.”

The desire to make things is deep-rooted – and smoke is manufactured by the smoker himself. Smoking provides satisfaction because it is a playful, creative activity.

“It’s a fascinating thing to watch the smoke take shape. The smoke, like clouds, can form different shapes…. You like to sit back and blow rings and then blow another rings through the first ones. You are perfectly relaxed.”

Smoking Memories

Certain moments in our lives are closely linked with cigarettes. These situations often leave on people’s memories an important imprint never to be forgotten. One sweet memory of mine’s  “Once I was all alone in my room…. it was the month of December and was pretty cold… I lit a cigarette and went outta my room to the open path that lets to my room in my Hostel…. Don’t know why but that particular day the scene which I see everyday from where I was standing looked so enigmatic….. With little fog on the lonely highway there were dim lights which made that place look like heaven as its known I was far away in my thoughts. I was thinking of God and the beautiful world he had made. The smoke from my cigarette rose slowly into the sky. I was alone, and at the time I was a part of all the world around me….”

P.S : Cigarette smoking is injurious to health!

Drinks in a college life have a very important position.I think all you college guys n a few gals might have understood.Im talking about the alcohol. From the experience of my engineering life ,lemme tell u about the drinking habits of the Indian youth in the college.I ll talk about the types of drinks they prefer,locations and the types of drinker’s!

Purpose :

Get relieved from their hardship’s[got a backlog or broke up with a gal...]
Masti [exams are over,holiday after a long time,some friend has came,going home.......]
Increasing the social life [friends,getting close to senior's........]
Showoff [ some guy's want to prove that they are heroes by drinking till they puke every damn thing they took in!]
Parties[B'days,Treats...]

Types of drinks :-

Beer[Most starter's prefer this and it is optimal in summer's]
Vodka[Highest preferred drink among the student's...mixed mostly wih sprite or coke and sometimes water by experts]
Whiskey[If you are not a beginner,you will drink this...mixed mostly wih sprite or coke and sometimes water by experts]
Rum[One of the good one to drink in the cold. Not preferred for beginner's...mixed mostly wih sprite or coke and sometimes water by experts]
Scotch and wine are drunk only if the the partyis thrown by some big guy

Beginner’s [They drink for friends..prefer beer or a single peg of vodka or whisky]
Optimist’s [They drink on parties,occasion's like bday's,treats and ....prefer any drink in 2-3 pegs...bus saroor bana lethe hai..no probs with these guy's]
Expert’s [They can drink 5-6 pegs .But they need to be handled with proper care...else they will get you in trouble if you are their company]
Sharabbi [All they want is some buck's to drink.They dont need a ocassion or something.They just want to drink.Location,company.... nothing matters except the drink]

It’s better if you don’t drink. But if you drink,know your capacity first. Don’t drink more to show-off ,it will dump you. Having a single peg with friend’s is not a bad thing But don’t make it a part of life.If you drink in optimistic way,your drinking is never a problem for you and others.

Warning rinking alcohol is injurious to health
